Lauren and Patrick | Charleston Intimate Wedding

I am so excited to share this gorgeous Charleston Intimate Wedding, vow renewal...

Lauren and Patrick decided on the Lowndes Grove River House in Charleston, SC to renew their vows. The River House is such a romantic venue tucked up to the banks of the Ashley River... and I must say, Lauren and Patrick totally made it their own with so many personal touches and details! Their day came together so beautifully!

Looking for a bit of a getaway, I decided to join along with my associate photographer, Megan, for this trip... And let me say, I am so glad I did! Lauren and Patrick were as nice and hospitable as could be, and totally made Megan and I feel at home.

Cassie and Paul | Savannah Wedding

Cassie and Paul came down from Portland, Oregon to be married in Savannah's southern charm...

And what better place to say Savannah charm better than the Whitefield Chapel at Bethesda?! With its gorgeous live oaks and hanging Spanish moss and intimate chapel, Bethesda was truly the perfect location for Cassie and Paul's nuptials.

Friends and family gathered in from around the globe to take part in Cassie and Paul's Big Day and the day did not disappoint!

Following a beautiful ceremony, the party moved to 10 Downing, in historic downtown Savannah, where Layla of Blue Mason Jar Studio did a stunning job of adorning the reception hall with all of Cassie and Paul's personal touches. It was so charming! :)

We had such a great time with you guys and wish you the best in your future together!

Teresa and Todd | Hilton Head Backyard Wedding

As I try to catch up on my blogging... I have the honor of sharing with you, the gorgeous wedding day of Teresa and Todd!

Teresa and Todd knew they wanted an intimate destination wedding. Their wish list included a beach ceremony, followed by a private reception at a venue that could be unique to them. Well, they found that place, in a private home on Hilton Head Island!

Teresa slipped into her beautiful JCrew gown, as Todd put on his custom suit, both anxiously awaiting their first glimpse of one another... At the moment they saw one another, it was like a weight had been lifted. After their much anticipated first look, both of their nerves were now calmed by each others presence.

Tucked up on their private beach and under the bright sun and big blue skies, Todd and Teresa exchanged their heartfelt vows to one another.

As the ceremony commenced, guests made their way to the beautifully set home’s backyard.  The backyard was lit with hanging lights and lanterns from the large oak tree. The details were organic and whimsical, all accented with the bright colors of orange, blue, and pink... It was such a romantic setting and the perfect way to celebrate into the night the love of Teresa and Todd!

Patsy and Jeff | St. Simons Wedding

So excited to share this gorgeous St. Simons Island wedding! I know, its been a while! :)

St. Simons is part of Georgia’s “Golden Isles,” the beautiful islands that make up Georgia’s coast.  Here, at a private home named “Itylldoo” located along side the ocean is where our amazing couple, Patsy and Jeff wed!

Patsy and Jeff, first met at an event that was all about a common interest and love, wine!  Patsy was there as she worked in the wine business, and Jeff, because he makes his own wine!  The story goes that there was an instant connection between these two and the rest was history!

That instant connection has only grown stronger. You could see that love so clear, as Patsy and Jeff said their vows to one another surrounded by their friends, family and the crashing waves of the ocean!

Patsy had been planning this day for a long time, she knew exactly what she wanted and knew exactly how the day would go.  The one thing she did not plan for was the foggy, overcast and very rainy weather.  She took it in stride (as it seemed absolutely nothing could upset or stress Patsy out) and ordered a big clear tent complete with twinkle lights to keep them and their guests dry. Patsy , bad weather or not, was going to have her ceremony on the veranda looking over the rocks and ocean.  Amazingly enough, the rain stayed away.... Well, that was until the officiant declared them husband and wife. Almost as in celebration, the skies opened up and rain started to fall! It was the most romantic and perfect first kiss! :)

Everything in this wedding, from the first kiss to the details and reception were unique and personal to Patsy and Jeff.  On each table were homemade jams made by Patsy herself, as well as bottles of Jeff’s wine for guests to take home!  Patsy and Jeff’s whole family pitched in to make this day beautiful and perfect for the couple.  Patsy wanted the people she loved and cared about to help her and make decisions throughout day, as she wanted everything to be personal and about them and their family.  And that is exactly what the day was, a representation of who Patsy and Jeff are, their life and their love!
